En esta ocasi\u00f3n Ricardo Fern\u00e1ndez D\u00e1vila, alumno de Mag\u00edster del \u00e1rea de Energ\u00eda, profesor supervisor Mat\u00edas Negrete present\u00f3 su investigaci\u00f3n &#8220;Dise\u00f1o de un Agente Local de Coordinaci\u00f3n para la participaci\u00f3n de plantas desalinizadoras de \u00f3smosis inversa en agregadores de demanda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Resumen: La demanda de agua desalada crece de forma sostenida en Chile y el mundo, tanto para uso industrial como sanitario. La \u00f3smosis inversa, tecnolog\u00eda dominante, es intensiva en energ\u00eda no solo en la etapa de separaci\u00f3n: cuando la planta abastece faenas alejadas de la costa y en altura, la impulsi\u00f3n del agua producto llega a consumir m\u00e1s que el proceso de desalaci\u00f3n mismo. Resumen: La demanda de agua desalada crece de forma sostenida en Chile y el mundo, tanto para uso industrial como sanitario. La \u00f3smosis inversa, tecnolog\u00eda dominante, es intensiva en energ\u00eda no solo en la etapa de separaci\u00f3n: cuando la planta abastece faenas alejadas de la costa y en altura, la impulsi\u00f3n del agua producto llega a consumir m\u00e1s que el proceso de desalaci\u00f3n mismo. El resultado es una carga el\u00e9ctrica grande y creciente que, por contar con estanques intermedios, admite holgura en el momento de consumir, pero que hoy opera a caudal constante y no participa del mercado de la energ\u00eda. Ante esta problem\u00e1tica, mi propuesta de investigaci\u00f3n es el dise\u00f1o de un Agente Local de Coordinaci\u00f3n que permita a estas plantas integrarse a un agregador de demanda, siguiendo las bandas de flexibilidad que este emite sin comprometer el suministro de agua a la industria que abastecen.
