Minor in Construction Engineering

This program is aimed at students who wish to expand their training in the area of ​​engineering and construction management.

Through the identification of problems, planning and detailing of the construction processes, as well as the administration of processes and people, students will be able to expand their training in the area of ​​engineering and construction management.

Students enrolled in a program other than the Major in Construction Engineering may take this minor.

  • ICC2204 Project Planning and Control
  • ICC2304 Construction Engineering

Electives

Choose 10 credits between the following:

  • ICE2006 Statics
  • ICE2604 Introduction to Geotechnical Engineering

Choose 10 credits between:

  • ICC2454 Timber Design and Construction
  • ICC2514 Highway Engineering

Complementary electives (*)

  • ICC2414 Topography and Advanced Geographic information
  • ICC3464 Sustainable Construction
  • ICC2354 Sustainable Building Design

(*) If any of the required courses have been previously taken, the necessary courses from the list must be approved to complete the 50 credits required by this minor.
