Minor in Structural Engineering

This program is targeted towards students who wish to broaden their training in the area of ​​structural engineering, understanding the fundamental principles of structural analysis and design of civil works.

Through this minor, students will learn to execute structural models, calculate internal forces, estimate deformations, and design simple elements. To this end, the program offers students courses in the areas of structural mechanics, solid mechanics, structural analysis, and structural design.

Students enrolled in a program other than the Major in Structural Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering and Engineering and Architecture may take this minor.

Choose 10 credits between:

  • ICE2413 Reinforced Concrete (Structures)
