En el curso ICE2533 &#8211; Estructuras de Acero, los alumnos del Major de Ingenier\u00eda Estructural aprenden la normativa b\u00e1sica para el dise\u00f1o de estructuras en este material. Uno de los detalles que deben aprender, es la especificaci\u00f3n de conexiones entre los elementos, donde una de las opciones es la soldadura. Conscientes de la diferencia entre el pizarr\u00f3n y lo que ocurre en terreno, es que este a\u00f1o el profesor Tom\u00e1s Zegard, Profesor Asistente del DIEG, quiso ofrecer a sus alumnos la posibilidad de tener una experiencia de soldadura, de modo que pudieran experimentar con sus propias manos, cu\u00e1n dif\u00edcil es construir lo que en un futuro ellos especificar\u00e1n en sus planos estructurales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Equipados con los implementos de seguridad adecuados, las m\u00e1scaras m\u00e1s top, y una soldadora MIG, los alumnos del curso aprendieron a soldar apoyados por nuestro t\u00e9cnico de Laboratorio, Ignacio Vald\u00e9s, experto soldador.
