{"id":3044,"date":"2019-04-24T15:25:56","date_gmt":"2019-04-24T15:25:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ing.uc.cl\/estructural-y-geotecnica\/?p=3044"},"modified":"2019-04-24T15:25:56","modified_gmt":"2019-04-24T15:25:56","slug":"seminario-parabolic-h-measures-and-applications-in-continuum-mechanics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ing.uc.cl\/estructural-y-geotecnica\/seminario-parabolic-h-measures-and-applications-in-continuum-mechanics\/","title":{"rendered":"Seminario &#8220;Parabolic H-measures and applications in continuum mechanics&#8221;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Se extiende la invitaci\u00f3n al seminario\u00a0<strong>\u201cParabolic H-measures and applications in continuum mechanics\u201d<\/strong> que dictar\u00e1 el Profesor de la Universidad de Zagreb, Croacia, Nenad Antonic Ph.D. Este se llevar\u00e1 a cabo el d\u00eda <strong>martes 30 de abril a las 15:30 horas<\/strong>\u00a0en el Auditorio San Agust\u00edn, Edificio San Agust\u00edn, Campus San Joaqu\u00edn.<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Abstract<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">&#8220;H-measures, including their variants, such as semiclassical (or Wigner) measures, or more general one-scale H-measures, as well as H-distributions and microlocal compactness forms, are microlocal defect functionals, the objects constructed over the phase space by using the Fourier transform, developed to provide better understanding of limits in various asymptotic problems.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">We shall try to briefly describe these objects, mainly discussing parabolic H-measures, and stressing their possible applications in continuum mechanics, to small-amplitude homogenisation of the heat equation and the homogenisation of the time-dependent Stokes system, as well as some preliminary results regarding higher order equations, like the vibrating plate equation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\">Sobre el Expositor<\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">El Prof. Antonic, obtuvo su Ph.D. en Matem\u00e1ticas de la Carnegie Mellon University en 1992, es un experto en Ecuaciones Diferenciales Parciales, C\u00e1lculo de Variaciones y An\u00e1lisis Microlocal.
