Actividad online, v\u00eda Zoom.<\/h4>\n<p><\/p>\n<p align = \"justify\">Continuamos el ciclo de Seminarios DIEG de este semestre el pr\u00f3ximo martes 17 de mayo a las 13:00 hrs, con la presentaci\u00f3n de nuestro estudiante de Doctorado en Ciencias de la Ingenier\u00eda, Ricardo Gallardo y el seminario &#8220;Comportamiento no saturado de un relave filtrado de cobre bajo carga mon\u00f3tonas y c\u00edclicas&#8221;, tema central de su investigaci\u00f3n de tesis.<\/p>\n<h4>Abstract<\/h4>\n<p align = \"justify\">Los relaves filtrados se han posicionado como una t\u00e9cnica de menor impacto sobre el medio ambiente debido a la recuperaci\u00f3n de agua en el proceso de deshidrataci\u00f3n del material antes de ser vertidos en terreno. Sin embargo, debido a que esta t\u00e9cnica es relativamente reciente, existe poco conocimiento del comportamiento en comparaci\u00f3n con los relaves convencionales. En este seminario se expondr\u00e1n los equipos utilizados y resultados experimentales del comportamiento de un relave filtrado de cobre bajo su condici\u00f3n no saturada mediante ensayos de consolidaci\u00f3n 1D, triaxiales mon\u00f3tonos y c\u00edclicos. En espec\u00edfico, se muestra el impacto de la presi\u00f3n de confinamiento parcialmente saturada sobre la rigidez, la resistencia al corte y la respuesta c\u00edclica del material al aplicar una succi\u00f3n matricial obtenida con base en la curva caracter\u00edstica suelo-agua.\n <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ing.uc.cl\/estructural-y-geotecnica\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/img_20210409_102016-scaled-1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.ing.uc.cl\/estructural-y-geotecnica\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/img_20210409_102016-300x138.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"138\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-3597\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h4>Nuestro Expositor<\/h4>\n<p align = \"justify\">Ricardo Gallardo es Ingeniero Civil de la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Valpara\u00edso con m\u00e1s de 10 a\u00f1os de experiencia entre la pr\u00e1ctica profesional y la academia. Actualmente es profesor a tiempo completo de la Escuela de Ingenier\u00eda Civil de la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Valpara\u00edso, candidato a doctor de la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile y becario del concurso Piensa Miner\u00eda de CODELCO.
