Actividad online, v\u00eda Zoom.<\/h4>\n<p><\/p>\n<p align = \"justify\">Tuvimos que posponer una fecha, pero continuamos con el ciclo de Seminarios DIEG de este semestre el pr\u00f3ximo mi\u00e9rcoles 22 de junio a las 13:00 hrs, con la presentaci\u00f3n de nuestro estudiante de Doctorado en Ciencias de la Ingenier\u00eda, Jos\u00e9 Gallardo y el seminario &#8220;Modelaci\u00f3n del comportamiento multiaxial de aisladores elastom\u00e9ricos de alto amortiguamiento (HDRBs)&#8221;, tema central de su investigaci\u00f3n de tesis.<\/p>\n<h4>Abstract<\/h4>\n<p align = \"justify\">El comportamiento din\u00e1mico de las estructuras s\u00edsmicamente aisladas depende principalmente de la curva fuerza-deformaci\u00f3n de los dispositivos de aislamiento. Actualmente, los aisladores elastom\u00e9ricos de alto amortiguamiento (HDRBs) son de los m\u00e1s usados en la pr\u00e1ctica alrededor del mundo. Debido a la estructura interna de estos dispositivos, el comportamiento del material elastom\u00e9rico predomina en la respuesta del dispositivo, por lo que los HDRBs son altamente no-lineales y est\u00e1n caracterizados por los mismos fen\u00f3menos del material elastom\u00e9rico.  En este seminario se presenta una breve descripci\u00f3n de los principales fen\u00f3menos de los HDRBs observados en los datos disponibles en la literatura y los enfoques utilizados cl\u00e1sicamente para su modelaci\u00f3n num\u00e9rica. Posteriormente se presenta un modelo num\u00e9rico robusto y vers\u00e1til para la simulaci\u00f3n del comportamiento tri-dimensional de los HDRBs. El modelo propuesto considera los fen\u00f3menos de acoplamiento entre el comportamiento axial y a corte, cavitaci\u00f3n, endurecimiento isotr\u00f3pico y degradaci\u00f3n anisotr\u00f3pica en la respuesta a corte. El modelo num\u00e9rico es validado usando los resultados experimentales de dispositivos bajo distintos patrones de carga. <\/p>\n<h4>Nuestro Expositor<\/h4>\n<p align = \"justify\">Jos\u00e9 Alberto Gallardo B. es candidato a Doctor en Ciencias de la Ingenier\u00eda, con menci\u00f3n en Ingenier\u00eda Civil, en la Pontifica Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile, e investigador de la L3 (riesgo y resiliencia de sistemas complejos y redes) del centro de investigaci\u00f3n CIGIDEN. Su investigaci\u00f3n actual consiste en la cuantificaci\u00f3n de la incertidumbre de estructuras aisladas con aisladores elastom\u00e9ricos de alto amortiguamiento, trabajo que est\u00e1 desarrollando bajo la supervisi\u00f3n de nuestro acad\u00e9mico Juan Carlos De La Llera. Es Ingeniero Civil graduado de la Universidad de Cuenca, y Mag\u00edster en Ciencias de la Ingenier\u00eda UC.
