Ofrece programas educacionales, capacitaciones y certificaciones, contando con m\u00e1s de 30,000 miembros en todo el mundo. Cada a\u00f1o sostiene dos convenciones internacionales de alta relevancia en el contexto asociado a su tem\u00e1tica.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\">Este a\u00f1o la convenci\u00f3n de oto\u00f1o se llev\u00f3 a cabo en Dallas, Texas, y nuestro acad\u00e9mico Mat\u00edas Hube fue invitado a exponer como speaker en la sesi\u00f3n titulada &#8220;12th International Workshop Session: Updates to ACI 318&#8221; con la presentaci\u00f3n &#8220;New Provisions for Seismic Design of RC Walls in Chile&#8221;. Esto sin duda es un honor, y contribuye a difundir el conocimiento generado en Chile a trav\u00e9s de la investigaci\u00f3n de acad\u00e9micos y estudiantes de nuestra Universidad.<\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ing.uc.cl\/academicos-e-investigadores\/matias-andres-hube-ginestar\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Mat\u00edas Hube<\/a> es Ingeniero Civil y Mag\u00edster en Ciencias de la Ingenier\u00eda de nuestra casa de estudios. Realiz\u00f3 sus estudios de Doctorado en la University Of California, Berkeley. Sus l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n se enmarcan en el contexto de la Ingenier\u00eda Estructural, espec\u00edficamente en dise\u00f1o y an\u00e1lisis s\u00edsmico de elementos de hormig\u00f3n armado; modelaci\u00f3n no-lineal de estructuras utilizando elementos finitos; an\u00e1lisis experimental de estructuras de hormig\u00f3n armado; comportamiento s\u00edsmico de edificios y puentes; y riesgo s\u00edsmico.
