{"id":3796,"date":"2022-12-12T19:13:35","date_gmt":"2022-12-12T19:13:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ing.uc.cl\/estructural-y-geotecnica\/?p=3796"},"modified":"2022-12-12T19:13:35","modified_gmt":"2022-12-12T19:13:35","slug":"graduado-de-doctorado-dieg-obtiene-premio-a-la-mejor-tesis-doctoral-uc-2022","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ing.uc.cl\/estructural-y-geotecnica\/graduado-de-doctorado-dieg-obtiene-premio-a-la-mejor-tesis-doctoral-uc-2022\/","title":{"rendered":"Graduado de Doctorado DIEG obtiene premio a la mejor tesis Doctoral UC 2022"},"content":{"rendered":"<p align=\"justify\"> El mi\u00e9rcoles 7 de diciembre se llev\u00f3 a cabo la Ceremonia de Graduaci\u00f3n de la Escuela de Graduados UC, donde 191 nuevos doctores y doctoras recibieron su diploma y medalla doctoral, en una ceremonia presidida por el rector Ignacio S\u00e1nchez, que cont\u00f3 adem\u00e1s con la presencia del vicerrector de Investigaci\u00f3n, Pedro Bouchon, y el director de la Escuela de Graduados, Diego Cosmelli. <\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"> En la instancia, se entregaron diferentes reconocimientos a las investigaciones destacadas, entre ellos, el Premio a la Excelencia en Tesis Doctoral, el cual se entrega por \u00e1rea disciplinaria. Este a\u00f1o nos complace comunicar que nuestro graduado <strong>Gaspar Auad<\/strong> recibi\u00f3 este reconocimiento en el \u00e1rea de Ingenier\u00eda y Tecnolog\u00edas, por su tesis titulada <em>&#8220;MITIGATING THE ADVERSE EFFECTS OF INTERNAL LATERAL IMPACTS IN STRUCTURES EQUIPPED WITH FRICTIONAL ISOLATORS&#8221;<\/em>. Gaspar es ingeniero civil de la Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile, Mag\u00edster de la misma casa de estudios y hoy, Doctor en Ciencias de la Ingenier\u00eda. Es un logro no solamente de Gaspar, sino tambi\u00e9n de toda la red de apoyo de la Facultad y de la Universidad&#8221; comenta Jos\u00e9 Luis, muy orgulloso del premio recibido por su
