<\/a><\/p>\n\nKarin Hofer es graduada de Pregrado de nuestra Facultad, y hoy est\u00e1 finalizando sus estudios y tesis de Mag\u00edster con nuestros profesores Jos\u00e9 Cembrano y John Browning. Su tema de investigaci\u00f3n incluye trabajo de terreno de geolog\u00eda estructural en Chile y trabajo experimental en el Laboratorio de Rocas y Hielo de la University College London (UCL). All\u00ed trabaj\u00f3 con los profesores Phil Meredith y Tom Mitchell por 8 meses durante 2022.\n<\/p>\n
\nEn este contexto, Karin fue invitada por la Profesora Marie Violay para ser contratada como doctorante en un proyecto de mec\u00e1nica de rocas de la \u00c9cole Polytechnique F\u00e9d\u00e9rale de Lausanne (EPFL), que ocupa el lugar 36 del mundo en el \u00faltimo ranking QS. Para optar a la oferta que le hizo la profesora Violay, antes deb\u00eda ser aceptada en la Universidad (EPFL), a la cual postul\u00f3 y recibi\u00f3 su carta de aceptaci\u00f3n esta semana. Comenzar\u00e1 sus estudios de Doctorado en Suiza durante el mes de enero.\n<\/p>\n
