Actualmente, es <\/span><b>Profesor Asociado<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en los <\/span><b>Departamentos de Ingenier\u00eda de Minas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y <\/span><b>Ingenier\u00eda Estructural y Geot\u00e9cnica<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> de la <\/span><b>Pontificia Universidad Cat\u00f3lica de Chile<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Su trabajo se centra en la comprensi\u00f3n de las tensiones mec\u00e1nicas y t\u00e9rmicas alrededor de los volcanes y las zonas de fallas. A trav\u00e9s del uso de <\/span><b>t\u00e9cnicas experimentales de deformaci\u00f3n de rocas<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> combinadas con <\/span><b>modelos num\u00e9ricos<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> y <\/span><b>estudios de campo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, el Profesor Browning ha logrado avances significativos en el estudio de estos fen\u00f3menos.
