Lilian Vel\u00e1squez, Profesora Asociada del Departamento de Ingenier\u00eda de Miner\u00eda UC, fue invitada como panelista al panel Creative Copper Recovery, organizado por el equipo de innovaci\u00f3n global de BHP en el marco de Expomin 2025.<\/p>\n<p>El panel que lleva por nombre \u201cRecuperaci\u00f3n creativa del cobre. M\u00e1s all\u00e1 de procesos tradicionales\u201d, tiene como objetivo abordar las nuevas tendencias en la recuperaci\u00f3n del mineral, la importancia de la colaboraci\u00f3n con agentes innovadores y los desaf\u00edos que enfrenta esta industria clave para el desarrollo sostenible.<\/p>\n<p>La Dra. Vel\u00e1squez es PhD en Mineral Science de Murdoch University (Australia) e Ingeniera Civil Metal\u00fargica de la Universidad de Concepci\u00f3n, con una destacada trayectoria en investigaci\u00f3n aplicada.
