Exact mathematical model of the joint effect of sampling and carrier frequency offset on MIMO-OFDM systems

Abstract

This paper provides a derivation of the exact mathematical model that describes the joint effect of a carrier frequency offset and a sampling frequency offset on the received subcarriers in MIMO-OFDM systems. The model unifies simpler, well-known results found in the literature, and has been successfully used in designing robust tracking algorithms for MIMO-OFDM.
