Abstract

In the northern termination of the Liquiñe-OfquiFault System (LOFS), tectonic and volcanic processesinteract to define the geothermal field of Tolhuaca. Thestructural analysis of veins, fault-veins and faults of theTol-1 drilled core give insights regarding the role of faultsand fractures networks in the chemical evolution andmigration pattern of fluids. In this work we present themethodology of mapping and sampling, the preliminaryresults and the future challenges of this study.
