This project is overseen by Professor José Verschae.

Descriptive complexity for function complexity classes (FCONDECYT Regular 2016 – 2019)

This project is overseen by Professor Marcelo Arenas.

High-performance computing for multiple traces formulation

This project is overseen by Professor Carlos Jerez.

Scientific CCD camera with optimal performance (VRI Patenting Challenge 2016 – 2017)

This project is overseen by Professor Dani Guzmán.

Scanning electrochemical microscopy (SECM) platform for characterizing morphology and load-transfer processes in biological and chemical systems (FONDEQUIP 2015 – 2017)
Localized heat treatment to produce ADI like microstructures in SG cast iron (PCI International Networks 2016 – 2018)

Equipment wear is an important problem in the mining industry, an integral part of the Chilean and Australian economies. This project, led by Professor Diego Calentano, aims to address this problem by hardening the outer layers of nodular cast iron through new heat-treatment techniques.
