The objective of UC Engineering Women is to strengthen the community of future and current female students and alumni, increasing female talent within the School and fostering role models.

In 2020, 30% of enrollments for the School of Engineering were women. The aim of this program is to increase this percentage each year.

Different social events are held throughout the year to foster community among our female engineering students.

We extend an invitation to all female alumni to keep in contact with the School of Engineering and to help strengthen the community.

Culture

The auditorium in the Andrónico Luksic Abaroa Complex is host to most of the cultural activities organized by the School, including dance, music, and theater, among many others.

Social entrepreneurship

The School of Engineering has developed a series of initiatives aimed at training UC engineers to be agents of change who provide real solutions to the social problems facing Chile.
