Marine energy research and innovation center (MERIC)

The geography of the Chilean coastline has noted potential for the installation of marine energy collection technologies. This is a collaborative project between the Universidad Católica, the Universidad Austral de Chile, Fundación Chile, Inria, and Enel. The aim is to study possible sites for capturing marine energy, in addition to analyzing the adaptation, maintenance, and use of related technologies in Chile.
