The Major in Mathematical Engineering is fundamentally interdisciplinary; a trait that allows graduates to interact with multiple specialists in the development of diverse projects in the fields of engineering and the sciences. Graduates will also be able to address and solve highly complex problems by formulating and applying mathematical models.
This course will allow students to obtain a general vision of the Major in Mathematical Engineering and the areas of knowledge that are studied.
The graduates of Bachelor of Science in Engineering with a Major in Mathematical Engineering will be able to apply their interdisciplinary knowledge in various types of projects. Graduates will be able to address and solve highly complex problems by formulating and applying mathematical models, thereby significantly contributing to all areas that require advanced mathematics.
“A mathematical engineer searches for answers to extremely complex problems, this thanks to their abilities to model, analyze, and simulate while maintaining a constant interdisciplinary dialogue,” José Verschae.
