Researchers are working on key investigative projects in centers associated with the School of Engineering.

FONDAP

The School of Engineering participates in three FONDAP research centers, or Centers of Excellence, in Priority Research Areas. These centers are financed through CONICYT and are investigating topics related to natural disasters, urban development, and geothermal engineering.

Across Latitudes and Cultures Center of Excellence

This center, led by the UC Department of Transport and Logistics Engineering, is dedicated to researching and development BRT systems and integrating these systems with other modes of transportation and urban activities.
