Infrastructure

Located on the San Joaquín Campus, UC Engineering has more than 11 buildings dedicated to academic administration, research, and instruction. The area covered by UC Engineering totals to nearly 42,500 m2.

General Installations

The Raúl Devés Building, the José Luis del Río Rondanelli Student Center, department buildings, classrooms, and recreational areas all serve as meeting spots for more than 5,000 individuals.

This building is dedicated to undergraduate studies, with focus given to scientific and technological skills training.

Andrónico Luksic Abaroa Complex

This complex, designed to resemble a large mining fissure, has more than 3,500 m2 of underground installations and more than 1,200 m2 of green spaces.

This building, which is not yet under construction, will serve as a hub for interdisciplinary research at UC.
